Today is one of those days.
I overslept and rushed out the door, so thankful that it is easter egg hunt/picnic day and I didn't have to make lunches for school, since we were late, after all. We get pretty much all the way to school when I realize that I don't have easter baskets for either of the two older kids. I tell them I will bring them to the egg hunts. Plan an emergency trip to Target, checking my bank account on the way. THEN, realize that I forgot shoes for the youngest to wear as we traipse around all day. Add that to the Target list. Get to Target, get what we need, remember that I owe $5 for one of the easter egg hunt/picnics...get change. Hurry over to work, where I have an hour to get the majority of my work done before sprinting to the hunts. WHEW...Take a deep breath.
Just a few minutes to get a quick blog out. Because maybe there is someone else who is having a day like this? And if so, just know, YOU'VE GOT THIS.
Now, deep breath because it's off to the races again. I get to hide eggs for third graders, race to a kindergarten egg hunt, come back and catch tail end of third grade egg hunt, sprint back to work to finish up for the day. Did I mention I have an almost 2 year old who gets to tag along??? AND baseball games at the same time in two different places tonight?
